Creation of a palliative care home
The Gisèle Faubert Foundation’s mission is to build a palliative care home in the Montérégie-Ouest region to provide the residents of its 65 municipalities with a calm, serene and welcoming place to end life with dignity.
The home will have the capacity to accommodate 8 patients, including a pediatric clientele, and will offer complementary end-of-life services such as respite, medication adjustment and symptom management. The benefits of opening such a home for local families are incalculable.
